Basement Project

The Basement Project at Milkwood offers artists a physical and metaphorical  space in which to explore and develop their practice in a particular context.

Emerging and established artists alike are invited to submit proposals for a month long residency in our basement culminating in an exhibition or event alongside the work being exhibited in our main gallery upstairs. There is no funding for this ongoing project, but Milkwood will support artists in residence by promoting their work and providing an opportunity to have their work viewed by the public.

This is an ideal opportunity for graduates, offering a stepping stone between the college environment and the wider world of the gallery and arts community. For more information T 02920473373 or E
